Move It!

MOVE IT 2012 held at Olympia in March this year was the premier show for teachers, dancers, students and dance enthusiasts. One of our clients, Tiffany Theatre College asked us to come up with a creative stand to celebrate their 10th Anniversary.

We enclosed a 60" plasma screen into a grey painted 'brick' wall and created '10' in lightbulbs on either side to give the feeling of an industrial setting for a studio. We used old theatre seats to match the theme and together with the plasma screening it provided guests with a place to rest weary feet and watch a 'movie'. The stand had a lighting rig around its perimeter constructed from industrial scaffolding and 'keyclamp' fittings. Suspended from the rig were traditional theatre lanterns complete with barn doors to focus light around the space.

The show was a 3 day extravaganza where 20,000 dancers took part in a festival of dance - watching performances, taking part in classes and shopping for all their needs at the exhibition.

Tiffany Theatre College is a dynamic, innovative performing arts college with sought-after, active choreographers and tutors at the top of their profession. The stand launched the College's new website and provided an opportunity for directors, staff and students to meet with visitors to MOVE IT 2012 at a stand which truely reflected 'IT IS THE WAY WE DO IT' slogan.
