Ipswich High School For Girls Gets Projected...

14 December 2010

A call to AV Unit requesting some help in refurbishing the Laboratories at Ipswich High School for Girls led to many of the classrooms being upgraded.

Geography, Spanish, IT departments and the Junior School have all benefited from a combination of replacement, and in some cases new, projectors and Smartboards™.

AV Unit moved whiteboards, fitted new bracketry, installed projectors and worked with individual teachers to optimize the layout of their classrooms. Working when the rooms were empty minimized the disruption and out-of-term building projects sometimes meant tight deadlines for the installation work to be completed – in one case on the day before the new term started.

Sally Baalham, Computer Network Manager at Ipswich High School for Girls said: “We are very pleased with the work which AV Unit is doing to help us bring our equipment up to a consistently high standard. By investing in technology to make the classrooms exciting and interesting places to be in, we are helping our students to learn keeping them focused and interactive throughout the day”
